Against Fascism

with special attention on the City of Helsinki

and its want for land in the east

The attempts of the City of Helsinki to incorporate the municipality of Sipoo, or parts thereof have been done in such close resemblance to

Adolf Hitler's

actions regarding the 1938 Munich agreement and his attempts to obtain an direct land connection between East-Preussia and the rest of Germany and enlarged living space in the east, that awards are appropriate

To the decision-makers in the City of Helsinki
for a prizeworthy attempt to enlarge
the citys living space to the east:

Award.jpg

Certain members of

The Finnish Government

have acted like Daladier (France) and Chamberlain (Great Britain)
did in Munich in september 1938.
Nowbody asked Chechoslovakia then and
nowbody asked the Municipality of Sipoo in 2006.

An award to them too is appropriate.

To the members of the Finnish Gorvernment
which has acted in the spirit of the
1938 Munich agreement
when approving of the enlargement
of the City of Helsinki's
living space to the east

Award

If even one righteous is yet to be found among the decision-makers he or she might tell the others, that it is written in the

Bible

"You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that belongs to your neighbor."
(Exodus 20:17)

... and therefore You shall not covet your neighbor's land either.

But such Christian moral does not concern the decisison-makers in the year 2006. Instead they act like this:

Bible - Exodus (20:17)

... and You shall not covet your neighbor's land!

The Bible says:

"But unless you
repent,
you too will all perish."
(Luk. 13:3,5)

The shadow of Helsinki

Why should one oppose fascism?

First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out
    - because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out
    - because I was not a socialist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out
    - because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out
    - because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me
    - and there was no one left to speak out for me.

by Rev. Martin Niemoller, 1945 (there is plenty about him on the net)

Because we still have the right to speak out,
we should exercise this right.
But if we chose not to speak out,
this right might be taken from us.
This right is called freedom of speech.
We take it for granted, but we shouldn't.
As every other right it's Ours ... to fight for.

Ours to fight for - freedom from want

Ours to fight for - freedom from fear

What did You do for freedom today?

What did You do for freedom today

Or better still, what can I do today to prevent
a full scale war against terror and fascism tomorrow?

Well, there is something You can do. You can speak out before it is to late.

Here is a list of email adresses to decision-makers in the city of Helsinki.
Write to them and tell them about this site
or
Write to them and tell them Your opinion about what they are doing.

For my part I have made this site and given You an opportunity to speak out.
Now, You do something!
